Mary Ann Blanchard

  Notes:

1851 Census (age 2?) living in Legsby, Lincs with parents and siblings. Also living in house are 2 x cousins Amos (13, labourer) and Thomas (age 4 perhaps) Crawshaw.

1861 Census; incorrectly indexed on ancestry as Blarsham, but definately Blanchard. Living (aged 12) with parents and siblings in Lissington, Lincs.

1871 Census - no longer living with parents.

Possibly she is one of the Mary Ann Blanchard who married in Caistor;
Q4 1871; males on page are Thomas Spalding and Leonard Wilkinson
Q2 1873; males on page are George Sanderson and Robert Strawson.

1881 Census;
Mary A Spalding married to Thomas is living in Lincoln. Gives PoB as Lincoln.
Lot's of Mary A.Wilkinson's but non married to a Leonard.

Mary A Strawson married to Robert .......ah, it's her! So;
1881 Census; living age 31, at 29 Osgoby ?? Main St., Kirbky Cum Osgoby, with husband and son. Gives PoB as Linwood.

1891 Census; living, age 41, I think as Widow although hard to tell it looks like an M then changed to a W (later - found husbands death in '88), certainly is 'Head', at 37 King St., Market Rasen, Lincs. with 3 sons. No occupation given. However PoB now says Market Rasen, but that's only about 2 miles from Linwood.

A Mary Strawson married in Q2 1898 in Grantham , Leics (now Lincs). Males are same page are John Aubrey Pugh only.
A Mary Jane(?) Strawson married in Q21891 in Horncastle, Lincs. Males on same page are George Garner and Henry Lee.

A Mary Ann Strawson died in Q2 1892 in Caistor, est YoB = 1850 = match.

1901 ; can't find as Strawson.
Mary Pugh; lot's but no nice match.
Mary Garner; lot's but no nice match.
Mary Lee; a possible, but no Herbert or Thomas with her.

Mary married Robert Strawson Q2 1873 in Caistor, Lincs. (Robert Strawson was born in 1849 in Osgodby, Lincs. and died Q2 1888 in Caistor, Lincs..)
