George Caborn
- Born: 1838, Partney, Lincs
- Marriage (1): Emma Jane Foster Blanchard Q1 1858 in Louth, Lincs.
Notes:
1841 census; living in Partney (Age 3) with parents and John.
1851 census (incorrectly indexed on ancestry.co.uk as Cabon) living (age 13) in Partney, Lincs with father and aunt. Mother not in house. Occupation; Agricultural Labourer.
Q1 1858 - found marriage record on ancestry.
1861 Census; (incorrectly indexes on ancestry at Cabourn, although in fairness thats what the census form says as well). Living (Age 23) in Claythorpe, Lincs at house of father-in-law Christopher F BLANCHARD (!!) ('farmer of about 20 acres). Occupation; Ag Labourer.
1871 Census; living (age 33) as head at 'Aby Barn(?)', Aby with Greenfield, Aby, Lincs with wife, mother-in-law and nephew. Occupation; Farm Labourer, Foreman.
1881 Census; living (age 43) as head at Aby with Greenfield Parish, Aby, Lincs with wife and daughter. Occupation; Coal Porter (almost a joke there!), Labourer.
1891 ; quick look; cant find him or wife or daughter. Probably mis-indexed. But then can't find any of them in '01 either, so maybe emigrated or something?
George married Emma Jane Foster Blanchard, daughter of Christopher F. Blanchard and Ann, Q1 1858 in Louth, Lincs. (Emma Jane Foster Blanchard was born in 1843 in Aby, Lincolnshire.)
