- Born: 1845, Thornton le Moor, Lincolnshire
Notes:
1851 census (age 6) living with parents, uncle and siblings in Thornton le Moor, Lincs.
1861 census (age 17) living as servant at home of William Atkinson (Carpenter/Journeyman) and his family at Elsham, Lincs.
1871 census (age 26) is visitor at the home of Jane Glentworth in Bridge Street North, Great Grimsby, Lincs. Occupation; Nurse. Shows as born in Thornton-le-Moor, so definately correct person.
1881 census can't find. An Elizabeth Lingard married a Thomas Wormald in 1879, but this person on census doesn't show as born in Lincs.
1891 census; can't find. However there is an Elizabeth Welton of the right age living in Rosedale East Side, Yorks, she born in Thornton-le-Moor, Lincs. Is married to John Welton (born in Melton Ross, Lincs) who is Railway Platelayer. Has 3 children aged 5-12. But cannot find a marriage for them - searching on him or her. Looking back to 1881 they were living Throxenby, Yorks (Scarborough district), and he was Farm Labourer.
