Blanchard Family History Society newsletter, supplied by Charles; he is shown as John BLANCHER (but his children are Blanchard) and born in Rothwell (nr Caistor), date of birth shown in newsletter matches chr in David Bee research.
On familysearch there is a John BlanchErd chr in Rothwell on 7 Feb 1724 who's parents are Thomas BlanchErd and Elliz. This sounds like him and definately has parents as BlanchErd, not Blancher. Ditto the other children (with slight variations on surname but always a 'D' at the end) - so I'm going to enter them as Blanchard.
