1851 Census; can't find.
1861 Census; Living, aged 27, as servant at house of Wm Stamp in Welton, Lincs. Occupation; General Servant. His brother Charles is also here. And there is a Wm Blanchard (9 born in Faldingham) who is nephew to Stamp. Stamp is Elizabeth Seaton's brother-in-law.
1871 Census (indexed as Blanthard); Living, aged 38 as 'nephew' at house of Wm Stamp (Farmer of 165 acres) in Welton, Lincs. Occupation; Farm Servant - Foreman.
1881 Census; Living, aged 49 as head at Low Field, Welton, Lincs with wife, 5 children and 4 servants inc Thomas Blanchard (his brother Joseph's son). Occupation; Farmer of 150 acres employing 3 men.
