1871 Census; Living, aged 19, at house of Uncle William Stamp and Aunt Ann with numerous others. Occupation; Farm Servant. Sisters Mary and Ann also working and living there.
Sheila Blanchard (Lincs FHS article) has them marrying in 1874??
1881 Census; Living, aged 29, as head at 14 Old Barracks, St Nicholas Parish, Lincoln, Lincs with wife and 2 dau. Occupation; Journeyman Miller. This (Sheila Blanchard article) was opposite Ellis's Mill, where presumably he worked.
1891 Census; Living, aged 39 as head at 36 Turner(?) St, St Nicholas, Lincs with wife and 5 children. Occupation; Miller.
1901 Census; Living, aged 49, as head at 36 Turner St., St Nicholas Parish, Lincoln with wife, 3 children and mother in law. Occupation; Miller.
William married Elizabeth Quibell, daughter of Unknown and Elizabeth Quibell, on 16 May 1876 in Welton, Lincolnshire. (Elizabeth Quibell was born in 1854 in Hull, E Yorks.)
