1871 Census; Living, age 8, at Snelland, Lincs with parents and 5 siblings. Scholar. PoB looks a little like 'Arkby', Lincs - wherever it is it's the same place as his brother Joseph.

1881 Census; Too many possibles;
Charles Blanchard, b~1863 in NK (not known) Lincs, living Middle Rasen
Charles Blanchard, b~1865 in Linwood, living Thoresway, Lincs
Charles W Blanchard, b~1865 in Moulton, Lincs, living Norfolk
But would have to say it should be the first one, so; living, aged 18, at house of William Winn ('Foreman Farm') in Middle Rasen, Lincs. Occupation; Farm Servant.

1891 Census; A lot of possibles but
Charles Blanchard b~1862 in Linwood, living Bywell, Northumberland is most likely. Is 29 and Groom living at Stableman's House, presumably to George Fenwick (Banker) living next door at Bywell Hall.

1901 Census; Presumably he is living as head, aged 38 at Snarford, Lincs with wife and 5 children. Gives PoB as Ashby, Lincs, which ties in with '71. Has children called Rose, Alice, Joseph and George and female something else. Not 100% sure so haven't entered. Wife is Harriet.
