A marriage has been arranged and will take place on July 20 between Philip Williamson Revell, eldest son of the late A.E.Revell and Mrs Revell of Hobgreen Hall, Markington, Yorkshire and Elizabeth Rosmini, daughter of the late Dr.A.G.Bateman and Mrs.A. Bateman of 26 Cadogan Gardens, SW3.
From Anthony B; A Yorkshire wool broker. Lived in Australia but impoverished when the wool market collapsed overnight (1955?). PE was reliant heavily on the wool trade from the Karroo desert. Betty and Dick retired to a tiny house in Rope Walk, Rye, where they sold antiques from their drawing room.

1908 his father went to Boston via New York on the Lusitania. .His father died 1932 and left over £42K
Betty and Philip left for Australia 12 July 1935 after their marriage - his occupation Wool Broker. They also went to India together in 1950- now living Flat 2 North Park Road, Heaton, Bradford
Philip married Elizabeth Mona 'Betty' Bateman, daughter of Dr. Alfred George (pref.George) Bateman MRCS, MB, CM and Antonia 'Mona' Schwarz, on 20 Jul 1934. (Elizabeth Mona 'Betty' Bateman was born on 29 Aug 1902 and died Q3 1989 in Hastings, Sussex..)
