A marriage has been arranged and will take place in the autumn between John Graham of 11 Warwick Road, Carlisle and Madeline, youngest daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Horatio Bateman. .... am assuming this did actually take place!

John married Madeline Bateman, daughter of Horatio Bateman and Rose Alicia Maria Ellis, in 1930. (Madeline Bateman was born in 1880 in Hadley, Middlesex/Herts.)
