Was highly speculative. But then Wendy found Peter (Jnr's) chr record; June 11 1797 GRIFFITHS Peter William the son of Peter and Margaret GRIFFITHS Born May 7, Inmates at M Allisons, Bow Lane, at Church. Inmates obviously describe tenants and Housekeeper the owner or leaseholder of a property as all the entries seem to have one or the other term. This entry is one adrift from his future wives entry !

Thomasina found ; burial record for a Peter Griffiths of Pimlico buried on January 3, 1835 at the parish of St Thomas the Apostle, London... aged 74.

There is also ; "Peter Griffiths, Superannuated Clerk, who died: 23 December 1834. Notes on executor's application for money owed by the Royal Navy. Will attached." in the National Archives. Given sons occupation this could be him. It is! Will says;
"This is the last will and testament of me Peter Griffiths formerly of Ranelagh Grove, Pimlico.
I hereby revoke every will or testament made by me up to the time of signing this my last will and testament, and hereby give and bequeath to my son Peter William Griffiths one third part of my real and personal estate in possession, reversion or expectancy.
I also give to my daughter Margaret Syms one third part of all my real and personal estate in possession, reversion or expectancy.
I also give to my granddaughter Louisa Elizabeth Griffiths one third part of all my real and personal estate in possession, reversion or exepectancy and I appoint my son Peter William Griffiths aforesaid, executor of this my last will and testament, as witnessed my hand hereunto set this fourtheenth day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty four, in the presence of George Wells, Thomas Fayne(?) and Richard Unwin, gentlemen, all three in the Admiralty Office, Somerset House. "
There is then the claim form which says; Amount due; £27.19.2. Name of the deceased; Peter Griffiths, Superan Clerk. Died 23 Dec 1834. 'Med Gent' (?). Name and address of claimant;Peter Wm Griffiths, Adm Office, Somerset House, Son & Exr. Claim admitted 16 Feb 1835.
