1851 Census; Married (but wife and 2 dau living in Liverpool), living as head, aged 56, at 2 Bath Parade, Cheltenham, Glos with sister (Albinia, unmarried, 59, Painswick) and dau (Elizabeth). Occupation; Accountant.
1861 Census; Widower, living as head, aged 66, at 24 Bath Parade, Cheltenham, Glos with sister (Albinia, unmarried, 70, Painswick), dau (Elizabeth A), grandau (Elizabeth King), servant and a lodger (Mary Foxton, 61, Landed Proprietor). Occupation; Accountant.
