Found chr record on familysearch. Clearly shows parents as James and Mary - same as Jacob Septimus. There is another Thomas, same parents, 2 years earlier, presumably he died.
Backed up by John Rogers research - which shows his wife and children.

Thomas married Sarah Barker on 7 Feb 1825 in Pateley Bridge, N Yorks. (Sarah Barker was born in 1806 in Matlock, Derbyshire and died Q4 1876 in Skipton, N.Yorks.)
