Henry and Matilda had no surviving children, though Hermann of Tournai mentions a child who died soon after birth. Henry's illegitimate daughter Bertha married Ptolemy II of Tusculum , son of the first Ptolemy, in 1117.

Henry married Empress Matilda#, daughter of Henry I# King of England and Edith-Matilda# of Scotland, in 1109. (Empress Matilda# was born in Feb 1102 and died on 10 Sep 1167.)
