Special licences issued as father had to give permission for marriage as she was a minor.

And in Whitaker's Peerage, Baronetage, Knightage etc of 1925 (and various other places) there is reference to a Sir Thomas Heron, who married Ethel Mary, dau of Richard Powis Monk.

R.A.O.C, formerly Lieut. 17th Lancers and 4th Hussars, b. 1897 [m. igzi, Edith Mary, d. of R. H. W. Johnston, .R.C.S., L.R.C.P. ; and has issue - Thomas Geoffrey Heron, Gentleman, b. 1921 ; and Barbara Joy]. Seat - Round Croft, Cheshunt, Herts. Club - Malta.

And a reference thus to "George Hudson, Sir Richard Ogilby and his trustees Richard Powis Monk and Thomas McBride" who are the owners of some land in Greenwich (The Forecourt of No 49 Thomas Street or Green's End) that looks like it's going to be compulsory purchased for road improvements.
