  Notes:

1851 census (incorrectly indexed on ancestry.co.uk as Cabon) living (age 4) in Partney, Lincs with father and aunt and siblings. Mother not in house. Occupation; Scholar.

1861 Census (age 14). Living at Spilsby Road, Partney, Lincs. with father, step mother and 1/2 siblings. Assume Ann is not his mother as only 11 years of age between them!

Q3 1869 a William Caborn married a Mary Toyne in Lincoln district. Checked 1861 census and plenty of Mary Toyne's but non born in Dunholme. There is a Mary Toin, 14, born in Dunholme who is servant in Welton, quite possibly this is her - but not conclusive.

1871 Census (age 24). Incorrectly indexed as 'Cabourne' on ancestry. Living as head at Dunholme Parish, Lincs with wife and child. Occupation; Agr Labourer.

1881 Census (age 34). Living as head at Sturton, Sturton and Brandsby, Lincs with wife and children. Occupation; Cottager of 5.5 acres.

1891 Census (age 45) incorrectly indexed as Cobourn on ancestry. Living as head at Barlings Cottages (?), Fiskerton, Lincs with wife and 4 youngest children and a grand daughter Mary Caborn, 3, born in Lincoln. Occupation; Cottager.

1901 Census (age 54); incorrectly indexes as Cabourn (but then that's what it says!). Living as head at Wigsley Village, Newark, Notts with wife and children and 2 grand children - George WH (4, born in Notts and Mabel (2, born in Lincs). Occupation; 'Yard man of shepherd on farm".

William married Mary. (Mary was born in 1848 in Dunholme, Lincs.)
