Presumably related to Andrew Motion who's great grandfather owned Stisted Hall at one point. He was initially raised elsewhere but when he was about 10 his parents bought the Old Rectory in Stisted and he moved there. However obviously not a direct link to our lot ; Andrew Motion was born in 1952, the son of Andrew Richard Motion and Catherine Gillian Motion.

Andrew married Enid Elizabeth Kerrison, daughter of Colonel Roger Kerrison and Unknown.
