1841 Census; living, aged 30, with wife at Partney, Lincs. Occupation; Tailor.

1851 Census; living, aged 40, with wife and niece in Partney, Lincs. Niece is; Fanny Elizabeth Cabon (sic), aged 4, born Partney. Occupation; Tailor.

1861 Census; living, aged 50, with husband, boarder (John Chapman, Shoemaker) and nephew (Thomas Coburn 14 - listed as visitor but is nephew) in Partney, Lincs. Occupation; Tailor Maker.

1871 Census; living, aged 65, at Louth Road, Partney with wife and brother-in-law Frank. Occupation; Tailor.

Possibly he is the William Richard Button who died in Glanford Brigg, Lincs in Q1 1875.

Wife is widow by 1881.

William married Ann Caborn, daughter of William# Caborn and Ann# Thornley, in 1838. (Ann Caborn was born in 1820 in Partney, Lincs.)
