Possibly a relation of Elizabeths mother who was nee Pritchard.

1851 Census (age 6) is living at Orchard Cottage, Longtown with parents and 5 siblings.

1861 Census (age 15) is living at Fir Tree Cottage, Longtown, Herefordshire with parents and 4 siblings. Occupation; Stone mason (same as father). There are some more Pritchard's in the house next door.

1871 Census (age 26) is living at 'Cottage', Longtown, Herefordshire with mother, siblings etc. Occupation; Mason. Immediately below him on census is Sarah Pritchard, 25, born in Gloucester, who is described as 'Dau-in-law' (to head of house) - so possibly she is a first wife to William ? I have checked '81 and there is no William Pritchard of correct age married to a Sarah. William and Sarah are only people in house who are married, also there are to grandchildren - Agnes and John (both 9) so possibly these are their children?

1881 Census (age 40?) is living as head at Lower House, Longtown, Herefordshire with wife, son, mother-in-law and niece (Jane) and farm servant - Thomas Parry. Occupation; Farmer of 80(or 40 - hard to read) acres.

1891 Census (age 47) is living with wife and brother-in-law (Augustine) at Lower House, Longtown, Herefordshire. Occupation; Farmer. Where's son Allen ?

1901 Census (age 59) is living with wife at Lower House, Longtown, Herefordshire. Occupation; Farmer.

Several possibilities for his death in Herefordshire.

William married Elizabeth Powell, daughter of George# Powell and Elizabeth Pritchard. (Elizabeth Powell was born in 1837 in Ewyas Harold, Herefordshire.)
