1885; Witness at brother John's wedding to Louisa Bartlett (unless was his father which seems unlikely).

1891 Census (age 35) living at Victoria Square, Settle with wife and 4yo niece - Elizabeth J Derbyshire (born in Oldham Lancs). Occupation; General Labourer. Parents living next door.

1901 Census (age 44) living in Victoria Square, Settle, next door to parents, with wife and a 14yo niece, who's surname I can't read (presumably Derbyshire - see '91), but has same christian names as his wife (Elizabeth Jane) and was born in Oldham, Lancs. Occupation appears to be 'Refuge Assurance Agent'.

William married Elizabeth Jane. (Elizabeth Jane was born in 1861 in Redruth, Cornwall.)
