Notes:
1947 Letter Cyril Griffiths - Ann G-P "Walter, I fancy, was in the Civil Service. I remember being down at Ramsgate staying with Alice Long as a small boy when Walter Griffiths and his xxx? sons were there. I never met his wife. The eldest of the two sons, Lewis, was a little older than I. I forget the name of the younger boy, he was very delicate I believe" .... goes on to describe how the youngest would memorise train timetables and could tell you how to get to any place in the British Isles .... "really an astonishing kid".
