Precise marriage date and place from Doug C research.
In May 1940 (Ada's death and his remarriage) he was living at Sandhills, Hartford Road, Felsted, Essex, which most recently seems to have been owned by the brewers Watney Mann, so perhaps the house came with his job? Funny back in Felsted! Gives occupation as Brewer.

From Wendy; Felsted Alumni 1963 his address was; Edgecote, Wicken Road, Newport, Saffron Walden, Essex.
In the London Gazette 2nd July 1987 there is a Barbara Emily WRIGHT of this same address recently deceased. And one of her personal representatives in Peter St J W. This is his second wife (Wendy found marriage details) This Barbara Emily born 20 March 1902 and died in Bishops Storford 1987.
Could he STILL be alive in 1973? Letter from Thomas J Eckford, Rands & Co. (to Kate St John Wright) regarding the will of Miss Ada St John Wright (of which Kate and Mr.G. St John Rands were trustees) which states "this stockholding forms one of the investments comprised in Mr.George St John Wright's share of the deceased's estate from which he is entitled to the income during his life under the provisions of her will". .....yes ..... Wendy found his death record on ancestry - George St J Wright and has same birth date, so must be him. Later: Got exact death date from summary of his father's will trust upon the death of Kate.
