29 Aug 1879; She was a bridesmaid at the wedding of Clementina Salmon (qv) and Dudley Pontifex. This was three years before her sister Ina married Clementina's brother.

1881 Census (age 20) incorrectly indexed on ancestry as 'Bakman'. Living with widowed mother, 5 sisters and 1 visitor (Edward Bayess?, 28, Physcian) and 4 servants at 13 Canonbury Lane, Islington. Unmarried.

1882 The Medical Times and Gazette "Christopher St. John Wright, MB, MC Aber., MRCS. Eng., L.S.A., to the Workhouse and Infirmary. ..."

1884 The Lancet contains the text "On the 26th nit, the wife of Dr. C. St. John Wright, ..."

1891 Census (age 30) is living with husband and children at St.Mary Islington Workhouse Infirmary, where husband is supervising surgeon & GP.

1901 census (age 40) living in Felstead Village, Essex with husband and 3 sons.

In 1902 Mrs.C.St.J.Wright played the character 'Miss Ophelia Lovelace' in a "home grown comic operetta The Abbot of Leez" at Felsted School, the named cast seem to be mainly members of staff. As we also have picture of her in graduation outfit I wonder if she taught at Felsted in some capacity ?

Assorted newspaper clippings (Bexhill Chronicle) would indicate she was a keen croquet player.

1921 Census; Living (age 60y11m) with Kate and Ann at 12 Bedford Avenue, Bexhill. Widowed, born Islington, occupation 'House'.

Largely raised grandaugter Ann after her mother died.
