1861 Census; living, aged 11, at Farm House, Hameringham, Lincs. with parents, siblings and Uncle William. Occupation; Scholar.
1871 Census; from quick look I can't find.
1881 Census;there is a Charles W Grant, 31 born in Mangeringham (thought might be typo) but a) he's a draper and grocer and b) his 17 yo sister Ester Bell is staying with him. However she is unmarried, so presumably is actually his wifes sister. Could be him I suppose, but doubt it.
