1891 Census; Living, aged 11, at 147 Ledwyn(?) Road, St Andrews Parish, East Northampton with parents, 2 siblings and 2 servants. Scholar.

1901 Census; (Incorrectly indexed as Nice) is living, aged 20, at 21 Billing Road, St Giles Parish, Northampton with parents, 2 siblings, boarder ('Ladies Companion') and 2 servants. Occupation; Assistant at Iron Works.

An Arthur Henry Rice married Q2 1908 in Thrapston, Northants to Beatrice Hettie Chew.

Arthur Rice died in 1963 and his son Peter died two years later in a tragic road accident. Peter had joined the company in 1928 and had been joint Managing Director with his father for some years. Following his death, Peter's son Jeremy had to take over the reins, having joined the company in 1956.

Arthur married.
