1881 Census; (Incorrectly indexed as Price) is living as head, aged 26, at 23 Albion Place, Northampton St. Giles, Northants with wife, son and 2 servants. Occupation; Iron Foundry Manager.
1891 Census; Living as head, aged 36, at 147 Ledwyn(?) Road, St Andrews Parish, East Northampton with wife, 3 sons and 2 servants. Occupation; Iron Founder.
1901 Census; (Incorrectly indexed as Nice) is living as head, aged 46, at 21 Billing Road, St Giles Parish, Northampton with wife, 3 sons, boarder ('Ladies Companion') and 2 servants. Occupation; Iron Founder.

Pickering Phipps Rice died in 1927 and his son Arthur Henry Rice took over the foundry, having joined the company in 1897; his brother John had also been with the firm since 1913.
