1901 Census (incorrectly indexed as Xingcombe) is living age 9 at Park Rd, Towcester, Northants with parents, sibling, cousin and 2 servants. Initials hard to read.

Have photo of his fathers grave kindly sent by Alan Anthony. Reads;
Erected by his wife and two children in memory of Alfred A.Partridge Kingcombe. Surgeon of Towcester. Died at Wembury Point March 30th 1903. Aged 54 Years.
His son aged 24 L.Corp. H.E.Phipps Kingcombe, 9th Batt. A.I.F. landed at Gallipoli April 25th 1915, was wounded. Became instructor in Egypt. In March again joined 9th Batt. and was killed at Pozieres July 23rd and buried on the battlefield.

Educated at Devonport High School, Devon, England. Emigrated to Australia aged 17. No known grave. Commemorated on VILLERS-BRETONNEUX MEMORIAL, VILLERS-BRETONNEUX MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Australian Roll of Honour.
