Birth cert shows Elizabeth as mother and no father.
1871 Census; Living with her widowed grandmother Elizabeth Powell and her mother and uncle Augustine and a farm servant at Platch Farm, Dulas.
1881 Census; Living with her mother, her mother's husband and 1/2 brother at Lower House, Longtown. But is described as niece! Occupation; Farmers Daughter.
Now know how she fits in need to look for her later on.
Founds some possible marriages in this period, but non seem to fit in. So presumably she is;
1891 Census; Living as General Domestic Servant, age 28, at home of Ephraim Hughes (Farmer) at Allensmore, Herefordshire. PoB just says Herefordshire.
Note that her aunt Sophia's possible husband Sayce died in Allensmore.
No obvious marriage (Hereford district) in this period.
1901 Census; Can't find as Jane Powell and don't know married name.
