1891 Census; Possibly he is the James Hoddell, aged 24 b Coventry living as lodger 'on own means' in Coventry. But that person has a Percy Hoddell (18) living with him ?
1901 Census; Living as head, aged 33, at 3 Paradise St., Coventry with wife and son and a servant. Occupation; Cycle Traveller (Worker). Son called Cope indicates definately correct person.
Death record says b~1867 = match.
James married Mary. (Mary was born in 1868 in Coventry.)
