As James is described as a 'relative' in 1851 it would be useful to track down her family, even though not immediately obvious how it fits in. Possibles; Chr 28 Dec 1828 Clodock; William Watkins and Elizabeth - this later backed up by find the 1841 census;
1841 Census; Living, aged 12, at 'Green', Newton, Herefordshire with parents and 5 siblings and a Margaret Winstone.
1861 Census; Is living as wife, aged 32, at Treadivan(?) Farm, St.Margarets, Herefordshire, between Lower Pentry and Suckenham, with husband, 3 children, 2 relatives (her brothers George Watkins, 26, Farmers Son and David Watkins, 23, Farmers Son), 1 house servant, a Carter and a Carters Boy. Occupation; Farmers Wife. PoB Clodock.
1871 Census; Is living as wife, aged 43, at Trecadiver, St Margarets, Herefordshire, between Fearnhead(?) and Upper Pentage(?) with husband, 4 children, and 2 servants (Wm Watkins, 20, Farm Serv Indoor and Elizabeth Watkins, 15 Gen.Serv). Occupation; Farmers Wife. PoB Crasswall.
1881 Census; Is living as wife, aged 53, at Trecadevor, St Margarets, Herefordshire, between Sholdon Cottage and The Rook Cottage with husband, 4 children, grandson (John Charles Price 2) and a farm servant. PoB is now Llanveynoe (1/2 way between Crasswall and Clodock!).
1891 Census; Is living as wife, aged 61, at Trecadivar Farm, St Margarets, Herefordshire, between Merry Head(?) Farm (occupied by Wm Powell) and Rock Cottage with husband, son, 2 dau and a servant (farm labourer). PoB back to Crasswall.
1901 Census; Is living as wife, aged 72, at Trecadiver Farm, St Margarets, Herefordshire between Alms Houses and Sycamore Farm with husband, son, dau and 2 grandchildren (James and Sarah Powell - , Wm's children, Wm being over the page). PoB Crasswall.
Sarah married James Powell, son of George# Powell and Ann# Christopher, Q3 1854 in Hereford District. (James Powell was born in 1830 in Dulas, Herefordshire and was christened on 21 Nov 1830 in Dulas, Herefordshire.)
