Her jewels were auctioned off by Dowells of Edinburgh on 21 August: Described as 'A particularly choice and costly casket of jewels which belonged to late of Mrs J B Crichton. Principal items: 3 Fine oriental pearl necklaces, magnificent diamond and diamond and sapphire bracelets, pair of diamon drop earrings, diamond bow brooches, 2 diamond and pearl bracelets, diamond bar brooches etc etc. etc!!!
