Found birth record on ancestry, but date doesn't tie in with bapt below !?!

Found bapt (Ewyas Lacy FHS); St.John's, Newton; 1875, Powell, Francis Edgar son of Ambrose and Sarah of Lower Newton.

1881 Cenus (age 4) living at Plash Farm, Dulas with parents and siblings.

1891 Welsh Census (age 14) living at Dulme(?) Inn, Llangynider, Breconshire with widower father and 4 siblings. Occupation; Plumbers Apprentice.

A Francis Edgar Powell married either;
Elizabeth Jane Bartram or Sarah Ann Brown in Bedwelty , Monmouthshire in Q1 1898. Other husbands John Edward Brown or Edward Edwards.

1901 ; No obvious match on Welsh or English Census. COULD be the Frank Powell, 23, living as servant (occupation ; carter) on farm in Tredegar (same town as brother George), this person lists PoB as Herefordshire NK (not known presumably?!).

1911 Census; not pulled; living aged 34 at Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Raymond also there, not checked others.

According to Susannah Gent's grandmother "F Edgar Powell kept the printer's shop on 46 Commercial Road, Tredegar"

Francis married Rosanna Lewis in 1898 in Bedwelty, Monmouthshire. (Rosanna Lewis was born in 1880 in Tredegar, Monmouthshire.)
