1871 census; search on ancestry.co.uk doesn't find under Caborn, but is under Coborn.
1871 Census; (age 14) living at Louth Road, Partney, Links with parents and siblings.

1881 Census (Age 24); Labourer. Living in West Barkwith, Horncastle, Lincs (address not given) with wife, children and there was also a Hannah something aged 22, relation to head of house unreadable staying with them.

1891 Census (Age 34); Farm Labourer. Living in West Barkwith, Horncastle, Lincs (address not given) with wife, children and there was also a visitor - William Winn. There was a winn as a possible surname for one of the Gant's way back - is this some distant relative?

1901 Census (Age 45); Stockman on Farm (Cattle). Living in Potter Hamworth, Lincs with wife and 2 of his sons.

Oct 1940: The Horncastle and Woodhall Spa News: Death of Mr.T.Caborn. The funeral took place at Partney on Saturday week of Mr.Thomas Caborn, who died on the Wed previous, at the age of 85. Was well known in Horncastle and district. He was a native of Partney, and for 20 years resided at East Barkwith. WHe worked on the land all his life, and for 6 yrs was employed by Messrs. W.Crowder & Son at their Thimbleby Nurseries. In 1935 Mr & Mrs Caborn celebrated their diamond wedding. The mourners were : Mr.R.Caborn (son); Mrs.S.Bloodworth, Bourne (dau), Mr.T.Caborn, Subrooke (son), Mrs.L.Blanchard, Mareham-le-Fen (dau), Mr B. Caborn, Hundleby (son), Mrs.W.S.Ward, Hemingby (sau), Mr.C.Blanchard (son-in-law), Mrs.T.Caborn (dau in law), Mr.S.Ward (son-in-law), Mrs.B.Caborn (dau in law), Mrs.R.Caborn (dau in law) .... <others>
