1841: living age (30) at Berriew, Aberhafesp Berriew, Montgomeryshire in house of her mother Mary (65). Also in house are niece M.A.Dax (Mary Ann), a Mary Breeze (15, Born in Montgomery, poss. a servant) and a Thomas Goodwin (20, Shopkeeper, Lodger or Relative??).
William, Mary and Edward Dax are living next door.

Got wedding cert to get fathers name.
On this she is 'of age', sprinter. Residence at time of marriage looks like Innstewchen?!? Witnesses were Thos Withers (her brother) and Eliza Withers (this could either be a previously unknown sister or, more likely, Thomas' wife).
Newspaper re wedding says of Garthmill Cottage, Berriew.

1851 Welsh Census; living, aged 39, at Elm Cottage, Gungrog Fawr, Welshpool, Montgomeryshire with husband and 2 house servants.

1861 Welsh Census; living, aged 48, at Dairy Square, Trallwmgollen and Tyddyn Pridd , Montgomeryshire with husband and 1 general servant.

Think Thomas died in 1869.

1871 English Census; ditto. No real match (using Berriew) if remarried.
So either died or remarried. Can't find death on free search 1861-71.

Anne married Thomas Walford, son of John Walford and Unknown, on 30 Sep 1845 in The Parish Church, Berriew, Montgomery. (Thomas Walford was born in 1810 in Shifnal, Shrops and died Q3 1869 in Montgomery, Montgomeryshire.)
