1851 Census; Living as head, age 31, at Oakley Cottage, Shrewsbury St Julian, Shrewsbury, Shrops. Occupation not given. Also 2 sons (only 1 of which is also with them in 61), Mary Ann Dax (visitor) and a groom and a house servant.
Husband is living at New House, Trwstywelin, Montgomery in '51.

1861 English Census, living, aged 41 (? hard to read), at Ashley House, Holy Cross Parish, Shrewsbury with husband, 7 children and 3 servants (Cook, Housemaid, Groom).

1871 English Census (incorrectly indexed as Wethers on ancestry) living as widow, aged 51, at ????, Holy Cross, Shrewsbury with 3 children and 2 domestic servants. Occupation; Income somethingorother.

1881 English Census; living as widow, aged 61, at 51 Abby Place(?), Holy Cross, Shrewsbury with son Edward and a domestic servant. Occupation not given.

1891 English Census; living as widow, aged 71, at 51 Abbey Foregate (? presum same place as '81), Holy Cross & St Giles, Shrewsbury with dau Anne and 2 servants. Occupation; Independent, living on own means.

1901 English Census; living as widow, aged 81, at 51 Abbey Foregate (see above), Holy Cross & St Giles, Shrewsbury with dau Anne and 3 servants inc. 'Hospital Nurse'. Occupation; living on own means.

Possibly she is the Eliza Withers (b~1819) who died in ATCHAM in Q3 1904. Will assume so for now.

Eliza married Thomas Withers, son of Richard# Withers and Mary# Askin. (Thomas Withers was born in 1807 in Berriew, Montgomeryshire and died Q2 1870 in Shrewsbury, Shrops..)
