Found his burial in EH PR's in Hereford CRO: James Powell of EH, May 21st 1852 aged 82= match. Joint grave says (have photos); To the memory of James Powell otp who died May 16th 1852 aged 81 years To the memory of Mary, wife of James Powell otp who died Nov 15th 1842 aged 70 years
This is v close to grave of Augustine Powell ; his grandson.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~ukhfhs/mipi.html There are matching MI's in EH thus; POWELL JAMES 1852 081 Ewias Harold EWY/A137 = 1771 POWELL MARY (Mrs) 1842 070 Ewias Harold EWY/A137 = 1772 This James matches with the '51 one. Also the Mary death date matches her will . I'm pretty sure this is them. However this YoB for Mary doesn't match the 1841 census of 50 (so max 54), but we know these are fairly dodgy anyway.
