Mary Louisa Salmon Senior

Wendy found; Liverpool Mercury of Oct 9 1869 ; Marriages: September 1 at St Mary's Church St Elizabeth Jamaica, Ambrose Augustus Finlason Esq to Mary Louisa Salmon youngest daughter of the late Bernard Senior of the same parish.

This led me to "Selected Vital Records from the Jamaican Daily Gleaner: Life on the Island of Jamaica as seen through Newspaper Extracts" (Google books) ; "September 6th, 1869; At St.Mary's Church, St Elizabeth, on the 1st instant by the Rev.J.L. Ramson, Brother-in-law of the Bride, Ambrose A FinLayson, Esq. to Mary Louisa Salmon, youngest daughter of the late B.M.Senior, Esq of Compton".

Don't know which of the gals married Ramson, but had a child (unless first wife) "October 15, 1866; Birth; At Yardley Chase, St. Elizabeth, on Friday, 5th instant, the wife of the Rev. J. L. Ramson, of a daughter."
Later (1892) there is reference to a Mr JL Ramson of University College and B.A. London becoming assistant master at Jamaica High School ; possibly a son. He also wrote a book ""Carry on! or pages from the life of a West Indian padre in the field" by J.L Ramson Published in 1917.

Mary married Ambrose Augustus Finlayson on 1 Sep 1869 in St.Mary's Church, St.Elizabeth, Jamaica.
