Notes:
Know his second initial is Pirkins/Perkins. Suspect first initial is Freeman, but that's just a hunch; later; NO, it's Frank.
Presumably after the death of his father and uncles he was the sole beneficiary of his grandmother Elizabeth's entailed inheritances?
The Star, Guernsey; Tues 3rd April 1877; Launch of a ketch at Gorey; A ketch of 60 tons register, built at the shipyard of Mr.J.F.Picot, was successfully launched on Wednesday evening, and taken in to Gorey harbour to be got ready for sea. She was constructed on account of the late Mr.S.P.Wright of Priors Marston, Warwickshire, who took up residence in Jersey some time ago, and resided at Meadow View, Reaumont, where he died very recently, leaving a young widow and one child, to the latter of whom was confided the task of christening the vessel, it being necessary to hold the child up in order for it to fulfill the task entrusted to it. The ketch, which is named The Standard, is a pretty model of marine architecture and reflects credit upon her builder. Jersey Express. SMGP; Samuel was 2 months dead, and his son William was 3.

Typewritten notes on his chr gown by Bill Martin's grandmother (Agnes); "My mother, Elizabeth Agnes Jeanes was born in Gorey, Jersey, 1856 and in her seventeenth year married Samuel Perkins Wright of Warwickshire. The robe was made and worked entirely by her hand and it measured three feet (handwritten alteration to 6ft) in length. Her son, William Perkins Wright was the first baby christened in it Nov/Dec 1874. (Hand written note 'St Martins Church, Gorey, Jersey'). My mother became a widow in 1874 and married Robert Sims Overton of Plumstead Mills, Norfolk at St Martin's Church, Gorey in 1888.
