Notes:
Repton have no record of him as a pupil (unlike his 1/2 brother). There are a number of possibles for his education, Warwick School for example. There is a governess at Priors Marston in 1871, but not in prior years, so presumably she was for the girls?
Christening date is actually baptism date and is from Sandy Hall research. This also source of second name - just 'P' in census'.
We know he had a son 'cos his father's will says "pay the same unto the guardian or parent of my Grandson the son of my late son Samuel Pirkins Wright".
1851 Census (age 3) living at 'Farm House' Priors Marston with father and siblings. Name very hard to read, but 'P' might be Perkins.
1861 Census (Age 13); Living at Priors Marston ('South of Village') with parents, 5, siblings, 2 cousins (Eleanor and Charlotte Lamb) and 4 servants.
WHERE was he in 1871??

Bill Martin's handwritten family tree, passed down through the family, shows Sir John ('St John' ?!?) Bradshaw Wright as being the father of; William, died on wedding day thrown from horse. Samuel, died by accident result of gangerine in one leg. Shows his son and marriage. Dates given but unclear what they relate to. PRESUMABLY THIS PERSON Perkins Bradshaw, went to Australia, never tracked down. This is James Bradshaw Wright?
The Star, Guernsey; Tues 3rd April 1877; Launch of a ketch at Gorey; A ketch of 60 tons register, built at the shipyard of Mr.J.F.Picot, was successfully launched on Wednesday evening, and taken in to Gorey harbour to be got ready for sea. She was constructed on account of the late Mr.S.P.Wright of Priors Marston, Warwickshire, who took up residence in Jersey some time ago, and resided at Meadow View, Reaumont, where he died very recently, leaving a young widow and one child, to the latter of whom was confided the task of christening the vessel, it being necessary to hold the child up in order for it to fulfill the task entrusted to it. The ketch, which is named The Standard, is a pretty model of marine architecture and reflects credit upon her builder. Jersey Express. SMGP; Samuel was 2 months dead, and his son William was 3.
