1964 letter from Tom G-P to 'Cousin Sylvia' re Aunt Edith's death. States that Sylvia was the only member of the family at the funeral. Tom only found out (Yorks Post) on the evening of the funeral "it would have been fairly easy for me to have come over" .... Sylvia had written to Tom .... but to his old address, so it arrived too late. At this juncture she was living in Kirkby Lonsdale ..... unfortunately it doesn't give a married name.
