Margaret Ann 'Madge' Griffiths

1947 Letter Cyril Griffiths - Ann G-P "Madge did not marry and I first remember her when she came and stayed with my father and mother at Ryde. I don't know when she died, or where she lived".

1851 Census (Age 22) Living at 1 Frederick Place, Lambeth, Brixton with father, step mother and siblings and 2 servants. Single, no occupation given.

1861 Census (NB: Indexed on ancestry.co.uk as Griffith). Age 32. Living at 1 Frederick Place, Lambeth, Brixton with her father, step mother and siblings (or 1/2 siblings).

1868; Executor of her aunt Hannah Brown (nee Fry).

1871 Census Age 42, unmarried., living at 1 Frederick Place (Frederick Villas) Lambeth, Brixton. Head of house is step mother Mary A Griffiths.

1881 Census; (age 50) unmarried visitor at her brother Stephen's house at Vienna Villa, Strand, Holy Trinity, E.Ryde, IOW. Occupation; 'Dividends'.

Times May 22 1889; Deaths; On the 14th inst at Fairthorn, Ryde, IoW, Margaret Ann, last surviving dau of the late Peter William Griffiths Esq, formerly of the Admiralty.
