1861 Census (age 11) living Woking, Surrey with father, aunt and sister. Also 3 servants and a visitor James B WRIGHT - his cousin.
1871 Census; whole family seem to have vanished!
1881 Census; Can't find him - but rest of siblings have re-emerged!
1891 Census; Living (age 40) "off own means", unmarried, in St.Paul's, Marylebone, London. There is also a lodger and that's it.
1901 Census; Living (age 50) in 95 Frithville Gardens,St Stephen, Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith with brother, his 5 children, 2 servants and a visitor (Kate Wilkinson, 44, single, born Boston, Lincs). Occupation; 'Living on own means'.
