Richard William Williams
- Born: 18 Jun 1861, Clodock, Herefordshire
- Marriage (1): Mary Ann Good on 19 Feb 1888 in St Mary's, Bedfont, Middlesex
Notes:
1871 Census; age 9; living at grandfathers house at Great Blackhill, Craswall, Herefordshire with grandmother, father and mother and 2 siblings.
1881 English Census; There is a Richard Williams, 19, who is farm servant in Llanveynoe, born in Longtown. This could well be him. Nothing much matches on Welsh Census
Originally I had him in Epsom in '91 and '01 with note that this could well be incorrect (as was showing PoB as Abbeydore). http://trees.ancestry.co.uk/owt/person.aspx?pid=118682771 Seems more likely as this person is descended from him and presumably knows what he's talking about . (Also got precise DoB and second name from here).
1891 English Census; Only match I can find is the Epsom one (married to Edith). On other hand the person shown in 1901 must be somewhere ! There is a Richard W Williams 29, born St.Johns Herefordshire, living in Tupsley, Herefordshire. But he is married to Louisa. There is a 9 yo Florence as dau tho. He is Bricklayer.
1901 English Census; Living as head, aged 39, at 88 Park Place, St James's, Clapham with wife and 5 children and visitor (Charles Southby, 48, Windsor). Occupation; Machinist. PoB; Hereford.
Richard married Mary Ann Good on 19 Feb 1888 in St Mary's, Bedfont, Middlesex. (Mary Ann Good was born on 29 Dec 1865 in Hatton, Beds..)
