Notes:
Be careful - 2 Sarah Walton's born in Tideswell circa 1845. For example I originally had Sarah living with her widowed mother in '61 - which obviously doesn't tie in with the father being a widower in '71 ! Doesn't help that other Walton's also lived in Town End and also had a daughter called Elizabeth the same age as our Elizabeth!! However brother called Reuben helps. 99% sure it's correct.
Birth cert (from John Byrom);22nd March 1844, Tideswell. Father; John Walton (Labourer), Mother; Elizabeth Walton (formerly Crooks). Informant; X The mark of Elizabeth Walton, Mother, Tideswell.
1851 Census (age 6) Living at Back Lane, Tideswell with parents and siblings.
1861 Census (age 17) fairly sure she's the Sarah Walton living as servant in house of Mary Sellars in Litton, Derbys. Occupation; Dairymaid.
Marriage cert (from John Byrom); 24th October 1863 Place; The Parish Church, Tideswell, Derbys. Richard Kew, 23, Bachelor, Navvie, Tideswell. Father; William Kew, Labourer. Sarah Margaret Walton, 19, Spinster, no occupation, Tideswell. Father; John Walton, Labourer. Witnesses; William Bramwell (X his mark), Elizabeth Walton (X her mark) - Sarah's sister.
1871 Census; Is virtually unreadable. Summary of interepreting a) the actual form b) what ancestry thinks form says and c) what we already know; living at Town End, Tideswell in house of widowed father with her 2 children and her sister. Married. NB: The Harrison's from 81 are 2 houses away on same page - so this is probably a different house. Occupation; Cotton factory <something>
1881 Census (age 36) living at Town End, Tideswell. House appears to be split in two. In Sarah's part (she is listed as 'Head') there is only son William besides her. However daughter Mary Jane (13) is next door where the family are Harrison's (grocers). Oddly she appears to have put 'sister' in the marriage column, although ancestry interprets it as married? Occupation; Cotton Winder.
A Sarah Kew married a John Hoyle in Chapel en Firth district in Q2 1884. Was sceptical - but when found these people in 81 census it included a Mary Jane (23) born in Lincoln - seems conclusive.
1891 Census (age 45) living at Green Knowl, Peak Forest, Derbys. With second husband and her daughter Mary Jane (who is now married). Also are husbands children from (presumably) his first marriage.
1901 Census (age 55) living at Back Lane, Peak Forest, Derbys with second husband and his 2 youngest children from his first marriage.
Can't find a Sarah Hoyle with matching details on free death search. But John B has death cert ; 19th April 1921, at 1 Reins (presumably means Raines) Road, Giggleswick. Informat; Doris Ralph, grandaughter, Victoria Street, Settle.
