Notes:
Not yet proven is the mother but seems HIGHLY likely given Powis and Horlick and Kent connection.
There was (IGI) an Ann Horlick chr 13 Jul 1767 in Painswick, which matches the extrapolated YoB on her grave (see below), parents John Horlick and Hannah Sarah Gyde (lots of Gyde's on same page).
1841 Census; There is a William Powis, age 70, living as head at Amwell, St James Clerkenwell, London. Not born in this county (I think). Of independent means. Others are; Ann Powis, 70, Not of this county - presuambly his wife, which ties in Eland (Eleanor) Powis, 35, female, not of this co. Jane Powis, 30, female, not of his co. Elizabeth Bayless, 40, female, not of this co. (married dau?) and her children. And 2 what look like servants. Elizabeth in the '51 census is a) born in Greenwich (same place as the Powis brothers) and b) 2 of her children born in PAINSWICK and c) one of her dau is called Eleanor Jane.
