Notes:
Originally I had his father down as James and mother as Ann, after finding on family search the birth of a Henry Powis in 1808 in Gravesend, Kent. This persons parents were James Powis, Jnr and Mrs.James Powis. There was also a Charles birth in 1804 in St Giles London with James Powis and Ann Powis. HOWEVER that same person is listed (on some of the records) on familysearch as Charles JAMES Powis.
But then I found the following via Google books ; The Gentleman's Magazine 1793 'Marriages of Considerable Persons' - 22 Aug ; Mr Wm Powis of Wynch-street to Miss Anne Horlick of Great Queen Street' . On family search this says; 22 AUG 1793 , St Giles In The Fields, Holborn, London, England. William born About 1768 Of St Clemanta,Danes,London, England and Anne born About 1772 Of St Giles In The Fields, Holborn, London, England"
Know he is Charles brother as niece Isabel Ann Powis staying with him in '71.
