1901 Census; Living, aged 52 at 67 Shooters Hill Road, Greenwich, London with husband, dau and 2 servants.
1911 Census; not pulled; possibly living in Paddington, London. There is an Elsie Bateman of correct age also living in Paddington, so prbly correct.
1919; Witness at the wedding of her son Henry.
1921 Census; living (aged 73y,8m) as (widowed) 'Head' at 36 Ashworth Mansions, Paddington W9. Her son Charles C is also there (as 'visitor' not son!). Occupying 6 rooms.
Clara married Col. Henry William Bateman, son of Dr. Henry Charles# Bateman FRCS, LSA and Mary Jones, on 11 Dec 1874 in St Andrew's Church, Southport, Lancs. (Col. Henry William Bateman was born on 22 Jan 1841 in Islington, London and died on 11 Nov 1912 in Paddington, London.)
