Named in Stephen Sumpter's will as dau of Stephen's uncle John Sumpter. In will she is Steptoe and 'late' - Sumpter is leaving money (£50) to her children.
A Susannah Sumpter, dau of John and Mary was bapt 7 May 1780 in Spitalfields Christ Church, Stepney, London, possibly this could be her.
Alternatively there was also a Susannah, dau of John and Eliza, bapt 16 Feb 1796 in Swineshead, Lincoln.
However first one seems more likely as;
Wm Steptoe married Susannah Sumpter 8 Oct 1802 in Spitalfields Christ Church, Stepney, London. Will go with this scenario for now.
Susannah married William Steptoe on 8 Oct 1802 in Spitalfields Christ Church, Stepney, London.
