Susanna# Scarborow/Scarborough

Her parents from Alana Bauman, but can't find on IGI, seems to hang together though.

Mentioned in fathers 1744 will as Susannah Scarborow (correct as didn't marry till '49).

Found marriage on the IGI. Later found it in the CRO. He IS OTP. She is of the parish of ... looks like it might be Irthlingborough, but not 100% sure.

Maybe is phonetic spelling of Scarborough, but there are quite a few Scarbrow's in Beds. on familyhistoryonline, not to mention Scarbrow's in Irthlingborough in the 1871 census.

When looking at Irthlingborough PR's in Northants CRO found accidentally a bapt; Thomas Scarborow son of John and Eliz. Bapt 30th Nov 1783.

Had a quick look for her chr around 1720 in Irthlingborough PR's - but they're virtually unreadable.

Burial date from Alana Bauman. Did it really take a year to bury her ?!?!

Irthlingborough MIs; 3.(Headstone with a rounded top and a footstone, on the headstone) This stone is erected to perpetuate the memory of THOMAS FREEMAN SUMPTER son of JOHN and SUSANNA SUMPTER who after a lingering and painful illness which he bore with Christian fortitude and resignation was remov'd from Time to Eternity on the 9th day of October 1812 in the 52nd year of his age. Also near this place lieth the remains of JOHN and SUSANNA SUMPTER. He died February the 10th 1807 aged 84 years. She died August the 16th 1798 aged 77 years (The footstone is illegible).
