Unlike siblings he was NOT found on the IGI births. However Alana Bauman believes he was chr on the date shown, although she says Jonathan (all other references to date are John).

In his will Stephen Sumpter refers to his late Uncle John Sumpter.

IGI: A John Sumpter married a Mary Hunter 08 FEB 1778 London,Or, Northampton St Sepulchre, Northampton, England. Possibly this is her.

John/Jonathan married Mary.
