Census for 1891 (Telford Ave) Alfred Law Student age 29, Edith 23 and the children Russell 4, Gladys (1 year) and Doris 10 months.

Census 1901 is definitely the school in Worthing as both Gladys now age 11 and Doris now age 10 are both there.

There was also one other occupant but this is blacked out as asssumed still living (imagine it was a 'domestic')
*The registers were updated later and Doris became Doris H Bennett and i have found a marriage for a Doris Locke to a Francis G Bennett in 1950.

Apr 1940; George Powell/St John Wright wedding; "The wedding took place from the residence of the bride's aunts, Mrs. Griffiths and Mrs.Locke, of The Old Cottage, Swindon". So it sounds like Gladys and Doris shared it ?
She is also listed as a guest at the wedding (obviously!) and is described as 'aunt' which isn't strictly accurate.

Doris married ? Locke Q3 1920 in Kingston On Thames, Surrey.

Doris next married Francis G Bennett in 1950.
